HOW WE MANUFACTURE YOUR OWP PACKAGING

Our recycling process

Our mission is to reduce ocean plastic pollution, by collecting it, recycle it into new packaging and provide an alternative source of input than virgin resin. By combining our extensive knowledge within design, innovation and production we are able to rethink how we use and design plastic products.

From collection of ocean waste to finished packaging

Our Ocean Waste Plastic is mainly collected in Indonesia in and around the Java Sea. We have created a network of local fishing communities to collect the plastic threatening their livelihood.

After being collected the plastic is being sorted and rinsed by locals, before it is transported to our processing partners in Indonesia.

WHERE IT ALL BEGINS

The clean-up expeditions

With our large network of fishermen, we initiate clean-up expeditions to collect plastic from the oceans and rivers. Local fishermen collect plastic waste on their way out or back home from their fishingtrips.

It is then transported to our sorting facilities. The plastic is received in a compressed format, ready to be sorted, washed, rinsed, shredded and made into pellets. Finally the pellets are being converted into fisnished packaging.
