OWP uses far fewer resources than the production of new virgin resin

Recycling plastic saves twice as much energy as burning it in an incinerator

Recycling plastic creates 6 times more jobs than putting recyclables into landfill and 36 times more jobs than incinerating them 

Emission

Production of recycled resin uses 85% less energy and emits 75% fewer greenhouse gases than the production of virgin resin
